Hi! I’m Jay.

My entire life I’ve had a nagging desire to make everything I use in day to day life the best possible. Whether that means the best premium option, value option, or something else depends on the item — but if I use it regularly, the itch to improve it never really goes away. So one day I thought I might as well share that desire with the world.

This site used to be called Rum Raccoon — a web store for my dice, pens, and other woodworking and craft creations, before life got busy and the side hustle wound down. Now it’s found a new purpose: a place for me to spew my random ideas into the world.
